Expo Logic has brought facial recognition to events as the newest technology to revolutionize the attendee check-in process. Expo Logic is using facial recognition on-site at events, allowing attendees to check-in with only their face. Here’s how it works:
First, attendees are asked to provide a photo of themselves during the online registration process. The attendee can upload their image, link their social media account, or have the image pulled from their membership information at the time of registration. Then at the event, the attendee’s picture is taken by a camera that recognizes their face as they approach the registration kiosk to check-in and their badge is automatically printed. The entire check-in process for an attendee takes an average of 15-20 seconds.
This new technology is transforming the event check-in experience by eliminating the need for ticket or barcode scanning at check-in. Expo Logic’s facial recognition technology is not only a fast and seamless way to for attendees to check-in on-site, but it also provides them with a secure, personal, and delightful experience at any event.
All attendee data remains with the online registration system the event organizer is using and the attendee images are only received over securely encrypted channels. Once the image is received, the facial recognition software uses only the face measurements and then immediately deletes the image.
Facial recognition for event check-in is an innovative way to elevate the on-site experience for attendees.
